M'Hudi 2008 Sauvignon Blanc
One of Decanter’s “Best Wines in the World” - Chalky, rhubarb, and grapefruit. - “World Wine Awards 2007” Lynne Sherriff, MW
The wine is fresh, lively and typically grassy with a hint of passion fruit. It is unique and very expressive of its terroir, taking you to the region with every sip.
Cool climate made this vintage ideal for growing good fruit. As a result, our winemaker, Tseliso Rangaka, was able to capitalize on this and produce wines of exceptional quality.
The Rangaka family is proud to announce the release of its 2006 Sauvignon Blanc. The search for a source of good quality, cool climate fruit saw M’hudi make the journey to cool climate Elgin where she soon found herself amongst like-minded friends. The result of this newfound friendship is to be savoured in every bottle of the 2006 vintage. Getting the fruit to the cellar took some doing but the result is well worth the effort.
